Dear SADAR,
"Thank You" for getting Aggie's, who
we have renamed Abbey, records to me so quickly. I have received both
sets. We are all getting along wonderfully, she has such a sweet
disposition and is responding very well to basic commends. I am very
grateful for individuals like you and Judy who truly care for all
Doberman's welfare.
Dobie lover,
Dear SADAR,
What a great dog! Just as mellow and
affectionate as can be and VERY good. We love him! Actually we thought
about changing the name but he responds well to Max and has had enough
changes in his life so we will stay with that....maybe give him a middle
name :)
Have been feeding ProPlan per Loras
suggestion. If you can think of any other food/supplement/care tips we
would be glad to hear them. Anyhow...he fits right in and I think will be
just as happy as we are to get into the new house. Thanks again...hes
wonderful!
Dear
SADAR,
I want to thank everyone with the
Doberman Advocacy and Rescue as well as Lora at Holidawg Pet Resort for
helping us bring eleven month old Xena into our family. She is a sweet
little girl and full of energy. She is especially adorable when she cocks
her head with her one floppy ear as she "sits" with her butt on the
ottoman. We call her our "baby dawg".
JoAnn was especially helpful with her
patient counsel as we came to the decision to have an older Dobe in our
family.
Xena loves our Holland Lop bunny, but
is just a bit big to play with him; so she admires him from afar (in his
cage and through the windows on the back door). He has expressed no
interest in her and is very offended that Xena has invaded his territory.
We are comfortable leaving Xena in the back yard to run and play on her
own while we spend time with Cutie, the bunny.
Xena is careful not to jump on the
kids when they are playing catch with her, but no holds are barred when
she plays with daddy. She knows that mommy is in charge and is learning
that the kitchen is my domain not Snackville.
She has seen our vet and is now on
heartworm treatment, puppy vitamins and scheduled for her next round of
shots in a few months. She knows her name, "sit" and "stay" -- she still
needs some work. We are also working on "needless" barking and riding in
the car without hopping from seat to seat. We hope to work with her
walking on the leash versus dragging US on the leash soon.
Thank you all and God bless you all
in your mission.
